As June begins, spring sports have finally begun to come to a close. A very successful season for many teams, here is a rundown on the end results for Beverly High School’s 2025 spring sports:
Baseball: The boys’ baseball team finished the season with a 12-9 record. They lost their first game in the preliminary round of the playoffs against Winchester.
Softball: The girl’s softball team finished with 11-4 overall and 6-2 in the league. Unfortunately, they lost on Sunday, June 1st, in the first round of playoffs in a home game against Weymouth.
Girls Lacrosse: The girls lacrosse team had an amazing season, finishing 13-7 overall and being Co-NEC champs with Peabody. On Saturday, in the round of 32 for the playoffs, the team lost by 1 goal to Shrewsbury High School.
Boys Lacrosse: The boys lacrosse team ended the season 4-12. They had a 25% win percentage and a rating of 75.09.
Girls Tennis: Girls’ tennis had an 8-8 record going into the tournament. They took the win against Braintree in the preliminary round but lost to Boston Latin, the number one seed in the round of 32.
Boys Tennis: The boys’ team finished with 4 wins and 12 losses. They were ranked 42nd in Division One and therefore didn’t participate in the tournament.
Track and Field: Not as much information on the BHS track and field team is reported, but their NEC meet took place on May 17th.
