Beverly High School wants to raise awareness of the Brain Operation Challenge, created by students Caroline Ploszay and Angelina Mazzone for a DECA awareness project. The goal is to educate people on the impact that learning and retention have on your brain’s health! This challenge was started by Matthew Ploszay after sudden brain surgery when he decided to constantly repeat Pi to exercise his brain. In this challenge, you will record yourself reciting as many numbers of Pi as you can and nominate others to do the same. Post your videos to social media to help spread the challenge and raise awareness. Beverly High School students can also support this by purchasing a bracelet from room 233 for $3.00. The Beverly High School Ledger nominates Mrs. Taylor, Mr. Fitzpatrick, and Mr. Scott.
