We are back with a second year of Community in Clubs, where we will continue to provide an inside look on clubs around Beverly High to further involvement! For this issue we are covering the newly created Botany Club.
Botany Club will be focusing on a variety of things mostly including plant-based crafts. The club will look into planting little pots, succulents, and cacti, as well as making terrariums, tea, chia pets, flower decorated candles, and more! Commitment is also optional. Members are welcome to pop in for whichever activities they’d like to participate in.
The club is new and as of September 22nd, will be on its second meeting making tea and propagating plants. Joining is relaxed and easy: just show up! Also be sure to check out the instagram page @bhsbotany for updates on meetings, activities, and more.
If you want a relaxed and fun environment to make easy and cute crafts, consider joining the Botany Club. Make gifts for the holidays, decorate your room, or just keep yourself busy with the many activities planned. Everyone is welcome no matter your grade or skill level / knowledge on plants. Hope to see you there on Thursdays, after school in room 352!
