Glossier first took the beauty world by storm in 2014, and has continued to grow since. 2023 seems to be this brand’s year; with a collaboration with pop star Olivia Rodrigo, pop up shops scattered across the US, and being added into Sephora, Glossier is only getting bigger. And now, for the first time ever, Glossier will be opening a permanent location here in Boston! After a few successful pop-up shops in the Seaport, the first Glossier Boston storefront is coming to Newbury Street. It will be next to the Mejuri store, located at 126 Newbury Street. There has not been much information released to the public yet. When asked for a statement about the opening, a representative replied, “…Yes! Glossier Boston will be followed by openings coming this year—stay tuned for more details.”
Although we don’t know much, it’s hard not to get excited. The youthful beauty brand has been a fan favorite of teen girls for almost a decade. The simplicity, easy application, new drops, celebrity collaborations, and overall fun, colorful aesthetic are what have made this brand so popular. The soon-to-be Boston Glossier location is currently under construction and does not have an official opening date yet, but keep a lookout on Glossier social media (@glossier on Instagram) and website for more information!
