The arrival of April is upon us, which means Easter is swiftly approaching. The holiday fuels everyone’s baking obsession by giving a reason to whip up fun, festive treats. This Easter Egg Nest Rice Krispies Treat recipe is a perfect, enjoyable, and fairly quick dessert to make with family or friends for the upcoming celebration.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup Cadbury chocolate eggs
- Cooking spray or butter
Instructions:
- Start by greasing a metal muffin tin with cooking spray or butter.
- Melt the butter in a medium pot over low heat. Once fully melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture and stir until fully combined.
- Press the mixture into the greased muffin tin, creating a small indent in the center of each.
- Place 2–3 Cadbury chocolate eggs into each “nest.”
- Allow the treats to cool, then remove them from the muffin tin and enjoy!
