Fall is officially here, and what better way to celebrate the season than cozying up with a good show or movie? Over the years, Hollywood has given us some of the best films and TV episodes to watch during fall. So grab your blanket and chai latte and get ready for the Top Five Things To Watch This Fall.
1. Hocus Pocus
Starting off with a Halloween classic is Hocus Pocus. A family favorite, this movie has the perfect mix of comedy and fear factor. It will definitely get you into the Halloween spirit!
2. When Harry Met Sally
The best films take place in New York City, and When Harry Met Sally is no exception. This romcom follows the two leads in the city and we watch them fall in love. You’ll get your fill of fall, with shots of red and golden leaves in Central Park and sweaters and scarves styling Meg Ryan
3. Gossip Girl (season 3, episode 11)
While there are plenty of episodes that give you a “fall in the city” feel, this Thanksgiving episode is on top of any GG fan’s list. The early 2010s fall fashion wear, Upper East Side drama, and Jason Duerlo’s “Whatcha Say” in the background created “The Treasure of Serena Madre” into one of the most well known Gossip Girl episodes throughout its six-season run.
4. Gilmore Girls (season 4, episode 5)
Any episode of Gilmore Girls will get you in the fall mood, but “Let the Games Begin” follows Rory as she and Lorelai tour Yale. Pumpkins and autumn leaves decorating the East Coast background are sure to get you excited for warm cider and crewnecks.
5. All Too Well: The Short Film
If you are interested in having your heart feel broken for ten minutes with gorgeous scenery and “autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place,” this should be added to your YouTube queue.
