With the weather slowly warming and spring on the horizon, we approach the optimal time for social gatherings. From cute crafts to photo opportunities, the number of activities to arrange is endless. Planning an event is the perfect way to unite and reconnect with friends during the idealistic springtime season.
Visit A Flower Field / Garden
Dropping by a flower field or garden will bring you that sense of refreshing seasonal renewal. A great way to kickstart spring and get out into nature, the vibrant awakening of color will take you out of the winter slumber. There are a number of gorgeous locations to choose from right here in Massachusetts, such as the New England Botanic Garden in Boylston or the Massachusetts Horticultural Society in Wellesley. Sport your favorite sundress, pull out the camera, and engage in conversation with friends as you roam through the endless rows of blossoms.
Tote Bag Craft Night
Grab a blank canvas bag and unleash your creativity! By either painting or embroidering, everyone can customize their own unique designs. Choose some of your favorite items or hobbies to display on the bag, and then make sure to show it off around town! Both a functional and cute accessory for your daily adventures, it also makes a pleasurable and stylish get together.
Painting Flower Pots
With April comes the urge to start planting flowers absolutely everywhere. Spend a peaceful afternoon in the sun, creating personalized pots to add a bit of extra color to your household plants. A simple, yet soothing craft that requires minimal materials and results in a charming addition to a room.
Spring Bakery at Home
Organize a gathering where each friend bakes seasonal-inspired goodies to share while catching up and enjoying the outdoors! From scones to tarts, the possibilities are endless when it comes to the delicious concoctions that one may whip up. Fresh, fruity flavors such as tangy lemons or sweet berries taste amazing in bright colored mousses, meringues, and airy cakes.
Strawberry Picking
Berry picking is a great excuse to meet up and spend time with others while also acquiring some delectable, fresh-grown fruit to munch on. The excess strawberries can be utilized for baking sweet treats as well. From photoshoot worthy moments, socializing time, and a juicy snack, berry picking will check many off multiple of your bucket list items.
