Over the course of the summer, every student attending Beverly Middle and High School had the opportunity to do a small project to represent a book of their choosing. Most students chose to do a simple project that didn’t take too much of their time. However, some students chose to create drawings, paintings, pop art, sculptures, dioramas and more. They really went above and beyond to submit their own piece of creative art. Each piece was unique in its own way – full of detail and vibrant colors, and really got viewers interested in the books the pieces were about.
The art is showcased in the Sohier room of the main library in the Beverly public library. The opening celebration was October 3rd and the art remained on display throughout the entire month. Our school librarians, Mrs Facteu (BHS) and Ms.Woznick (BMS) worked tirelessly to organize this art exhibit for all the students who submitted their art.
