As the summer swiftly approaches, so do many end-of-year traditions here in the city of Beverly. A key annual event to many is the Arts Fest. Every year, the Arts Fest is held on Main Street and consists of various outdoor tents with local artists and craftsmen selling their work. This tradition attracts small businesses from all over Massachusetts. From paintings of local landmarks and crocheted stuffed animals, to handcrafted jewelry, you will not leave this event empty-handed.
While today many of us may choose to order from Amazon or some other site where there is an endless selection of mass-produced items, there is nothing like the uniqueness that comes from purchasing handcrafted goods. Many artists at the festival draw inspiration from the communities and surrounding local scenery which make for wonderful personalized decor or gifts to represent our home. You can be sure to find artists selling a wide variety of specialties. These include pottery, clothing, children’s items, jewelry, furniture, cards, paintings, home decor, and much more!
The event is a lovely experience for all as it includes family activities, food vendors, and entertainment. The festival is on Saturday, June 15, from 10:00 – 4:00 pm. So whether you’re looking for a special gift, need some summer spirit, or just lying around, bring your wallet and support the beautiful works of our local artists.
