As the new school year kicks off, so does another season for the BHS Marching Band. They’re returning to Hurd Stadium with yet another halftime show filled with tunes that everyone knows and adores. This year, the performance is titled “Glitter and Grove” and serves as a nod to glam rock. Songs include “School’s Out” by Alice Cooper, “Modern Love” by David Bowie, “Under Pressure” by Queen and David Bowie, and “We Are the Champions” by Queen.
Since August, the band has been hard at work preparing the music and marching in this show, and were able to showcase two of the four songs of the halftime show at the first home football game on September 7th. At this past home game on September 21st, “Under Pressure” joined the line up. In the coming home games in October, the band looks forward to unveiling the last song of their show. Make sure you come support the football team, cheerleaders and band at the next game!
