Watch your backs BHS, there’s a killer on the loose! And Stage Right Drama Club is on the case. This year’s fall play will be CLUE! Settle into your seats and get your detective hats out, because this will be a show to remember. This unique cast of characters all received mysterious letters in the mail, inviting them to a dinner party. Upon arrival they are greeted by the peculiar yet charming butler, Wadsworth. After all of the guests arrive, the lights go out. CRASH! BANG! EEK! Mr. Boddy, their host, is dead… but who killed him? These 6 strangers now have to work together to cover up the crime, whilst being locked in the mansion with the murderer. The consequences are…deadly… and everyone has something to hide. Will they make it out before it’s too late?
This talented cast and crew is excited to work together in all of their upcoming rehearsals. “This is my fifth show at BHS, and fall play is my favorite time of year! This show is going to be killer,” says Mia Contilli, playing the role of Wadsworth. “We are off to an exciting start. A robust force of students, especially freshmen, have volunteered for all areas of crew. Our first two crew work times after school on Fridays have been super productive. Students are willing to do whatever is needed and collaborate. CLUE is a challenging set, as the audience will see, when we transition from one scene to another. The ideas students have are amazing. Thank you to all who have volunteered. We are going to have a great Stage Right Fall Play season.” Said Mrs. Bigus, the Stage Right Drama Club director.
Come help crack the case opening night on Friday, December 3rd at 7 P.M. The mystery will run through the weekend, with shows at 2 P.M. (understudy show) and 7 P.M. on Saturday, and 2 P.M. on Sunday. Ticket information will be released closer to the show dates. Follow @bhsstageright on Instagram and Twitter for updates, and email mbigus@beverlyschools.org with any questions.
